Direct TV Packages and the Internet
My husband and I just moved to a new home and when we called about getting our Direct TV service moved I was surprised to find out that Direct TV packages now include high speed internet service.
For years we have had two and three separate services in our home to cover internet, satellite, and telephone. As bloggers and web designers we needed fast internet service and at times we have even at cable internet and satellite TV. We preferred satellite TV to cable so getting cable for our television just wasn't a concern. I guess Direct TV has been offering internet service in their packages for a while but I haven't needed new service in years so I didn't know.
When I made the transfer call the Direct TV agent asked me if I was interested in getting telephone and internet service with my package. I quickly decided that I wanted to hear more. It seems that Direct TV has joined up with a variety of other companies around the country in order to offer TV, internet, and telephone in one package.
This is pretty great news. Now I am able to bundle three bills together and because of special pricing when you bundle I am actually saving money each month.
